Carrick-a-rede bridge

One of the main two attractions of the day was the carrick-a-rede bridge. Which is Ireland’s only suspension rope bridge built by fishermen trying to get to the salmon runs. Which they did. Now there’s no salmon here.

This is where the phone fiasco happened.

This is also the location of an abandoned limestone quarry which was a scene in Game of Thrones. We had lunch at a small local restaurant which celebrated the GoT title proudly.
